CLI

Publish from the terminal

The CLI is the same publish path the skill uses — without a web “publish” button. It sends HTML to Secure Publish and gives you a link that only opens after company login.

What it does

With npx --yes @securepublish/cli you sign in with a one-time code, publish an HTML file, list what’s live, rename a link, or take a panel down. The binary name is securepublish-cli. Use the scoped package; don’t install the unrelated public package named secure-publish.

Requires Node 22 or newer for the skill install; the CLI itself runs on Node 20+.

Where the data goes

Publish traffic goes only to app.securepublish.work. The CLI does not send your HTML to another host.

Login by code

The CLI prints a code in your own terminal. Open app.securepublish.work/device, sign in yourself, and type the code there. We never ask for that code by email, chat, or phone. If someone sends you a code, don’t type it.
